This entertainment production company, best known as a
division of Hallmark Greeting Cards and the cable television Hallmark Channel, has financial offices in Manhattan and
Colorado, both using an accounting system located on servers in the Manhattan offices and running over a T-1.

Thrasher Tech’s founder provided accounting system support to both Manhattan and Colorado, including routine maintenance, end user training, and desktop and network troubleshooting, as well as creating custom financial reporting applications to generate custom-coded financial management reports.

With more than 65,000 - and growing - account numbers in its general ledger, reporting and account management was quickly becoming difficult for Hallmark Entertainment to handle. Crystal Reports, Access and FRx were used to provide a wide variety of reports to various audiences involved, including
corporate management, production management, merchandising, and others and enabled Hallmark to get a handle on this sizeable general ledger.
